Production of single-purpose equipment for assembly units of welding stations.
The basic idea was to create a simple manual workstation controlled by operators. The operators would insert prepared components into the inserting appliance and then weld the components and thus create the required final product.
Description of application
Welding stations are implemented as a line. It is complete welding equipment for the assembly units for circuit breakers. The machines are controlled manually by operators; they are connected with conveyors and mutually linked so that the final product is completed at the last workstation. The machine consists of an aluminium frame, inserting appliance, welding aggregate, invertor, electrical distributor, control panel, stainless removal of components and supporting shelves. The communication with the operator is executed via the control panel where the panel for controlling the welding unit is installed. The welding cycle of the station is controlled by a double button for safety reason and the welding unit is controlled by a foot pedal in some workstations.
The entire application is ergonomically designed to meet the demanding requirements for reducing the production time of the operator for the given part of the production set.
Used products and technologies:
- Machine frame – from the Item building set components by Alváris and sheet-metal shelves from stainless metal sheets;
- Electric components by Schneider Electric;
- The control panel for the welding unit contains MPS 300 or HRC-600 and Magelis XBTR Control Panel;
- The main safety element is controlling the welding cycle by Turck double buttons.
